Mastering Test Prepâ˘Â Â
LSAT, MCAT, DAT and Standardized Test Coaching Designed Around How You Actually Learn
GET STARTED
Your standardized test score matters.
But preparing for the LSAT, MCAT, DAT, or another major admissions test is not just about doing more practice questions, buying another prep book, or forcing yourself into a study schedule that does not fit your life. Itâs also not about overwhelming, granular statistics. Thereâs a bigger picture here that the granularity of data can mask.
At Apply Yourself Global, Mastering Test Prep⢠is built differently.
Whether you are applying to law school, medical school, dental school, graduate school or another competitive academic program, your test preparation needs to be strategic, structured and sustainable.
You donât need to treat this like a full-time job. In fact, if you do, you just might burn out.Â
And you should see results, not in years, but in weeks. Really understanding the test, your learning, and how to implement strategy that works for you in a way that you never need to sacrifice your life now for the life you are building.Â
Think about it - understanding the test, step-by-step, so that you work consistently over time with clarity, accuracy, and your own AYG Coachâs support. You donât resent the process like most people. You enjoy it. You learn your brain. You learn your study style. You learn your priorities and how you choose them. You learn your schedule. Calmly, consistently. You are nourished, you sleep, you work and/or volunteer, you socialize, you donât burn out.
That is exactly what we help you build.
Support that feels personal, strategic, and built around you.
Mastering Test Prep⢠is designed to give you more than practice questions. You get coaching, structure, strategy, accountability, and a team that understands how to help you move forward with clarity.
01 1:1 Coaching Sessions
You will work directly with your Coach on Zoom for 1 to 2 hours per week, depending on your customized schedule, goals, and coaching package.
Your Coach will help you develop your test strategy, strengthen your skills, review your progress, identify patterns, and adjust your approach as needed.
And if both you and your Coach are in Toronto, 1:1 coaching sessions may take place in person at AYGâs Toronto office.
02 Personalized Coach Matching
Before you begin coaching, you will meet with our Client Success Team for an onboarding call.
During this call, we will review your diagnostic test results or guide you to taking your diagnostic test, discuss your goals, talk about your learning style, and talk through which coach or coaches may be the best fit for you.
This is part of what makes the program personal.
We do not just hand you a coach and hope it works. We help build the right support system around you.
03 Full-Length Diagnostic Test Review
If you have not already completed a full-length diagnostic LSAT, MCAT, DAT, or other standardized test, you will complete one before, or at the beginning, of your coaching program.
Your diagnostic helps us understand your starting point.
It also gives your Coach important information about your strengths, gaps, pacing, patterns, and next steps.
And it helps Dr. Shnier meet you where youâre at.
04 Weekly Live Group Coaching With Dr. Shnier
Every Thursday at 12:00 pm ET, MTP students are invited to attend a live one-hour group coaching call on Zoom with Dr. Adrienne Shnier.
You can bring your study strategy questions, submit questions ahead of time, or raise questions live during the call.
You will also hear from other AYG community members who are preparing for their standardized tests, which helps normalize the process and remind you that you are not doing this alone.
If you cannot attend live, you will receive access to the recording so you can watch it when it works for you.

Support for Students and Parents
We know that test prep can become a source of stress for the whole family.
Parents want to help, but they may not know when to push, when to step back, or what kind of support their student actually needs.
Students want independence, but they also want reassurance that they are making the right moves.
Mastering Test Prep⢠gives students a structured support system so they are not carrying the entire process alone.
It also gives families peace of mind knowing there is a team helping guide the plan, track the progress, and support the strategy.
